Amazing First [Real] Date. ♥

Since I’ll be super busy after I’ll be back from Canada, my boyfriend decided to make a surprise date for me, which was yesterday. First, I met him at Eastridge since I told my mom that I would be “watching movies with some of my friends.” I thought it was cute how we told each other to match outfits- white shirts and chinos hehe.

Upon meeting him, we drove to Milpitas and he treated me out to a noodle house called Maru Ichi. He had a bowl of ramen while I had a bowl of buckwheat noodles. For someone who doesn’t like pho but loves udon, I thought the noodles tasted fantastic. ^ _ ^

Afterwards, we went downtown to bowl at this bowling alley called 4th Street Bowl. I bowled horribly… Every time I thought I would get a strike, there would always be one pin that refused to fall down. :( We ended up playing three games. Apparently, we were ahead of “schedule” since he thought bowling would have lasted longer.

We went back to San Jose (Eastridge specifically) to watch movies. He bought the tickets ahead of time (so he wouldn’t have given away of what we were going to do later that day) for “Snow White & The Huntsmen”. Of the choices of that evening, he decided to go along with that movie since he knew that I would prefer something with a fairytale set-up. :)

The movie was pretty good but there were a few things that were a bit much for me to handle, (then again, I don’t have the strongest stomach) so he covered my eyes for me hehe. The outcome was expected but the ending kind of sucked. Overall, we both liked the movie.

With the sun still out, we drove to a local park just to play around We didn’t know that it would be that windy at that time, so we were shivering. Luckily, it would happen that there would be two of his jackets in his car so we could keep warm. We anticipated that the sun would set sooner haha.

Later, we just hung out in his car before he drove me home at around 10 p.m. All in all, it was a really fun & memorable date (kind of like two and a half dates in one). He ended up spending around $70, so I felt a bit guilty about that. But he said that it would be well worth it since we won’t be seeing each other in a while. Even though we’ll be away from each other, it’s assuring to know he’s committed in this relationship (even with this upcoming fall). I just had a tiny wish that he could given me something so I kind of have something tangible to remember him with. x)
